Olivia Culpo
Olivia Culpo (born May 8, 1992 in Cranston , Rhode Island ) is an American beauty queen . She won the Miss Rhode Island, Miss USA and Miss Universe titles in 2012.
Life
Culpo grew up as the daughter of musicians Peter and Susan Culpo in Cranston (Rhode Island). In 2010, Culpo graduated from St. Mary Academy Bay View and became a member of the National Honor Society. Culpo followed in her parents' footsteps and began learning the cello . She therefore participated as a cellist with the Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, RI Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble, Bay View Orchestra and Rhode Island All-State Orchestra. Culpo played at the Boston Symphony Hall in Boston, Carnegie Hall in New York City and toured England.
On September 18, 2011, Culpo was crowned Miss Rhode Island USA 2012 . On June 3, 2012, Culpo represented their state of Rhode Island in the Miss USA election and won the Miss USA title . In December 2012 she was elected Miss Universe .
From June 2013 to May 2015, Culpo was in a relationship with singer and actor Nick Jonas .
