Ollegard von Ahlefeldt (also: Ölgard von Ahlefeldt) (born von Buchwaldt ) (* 1547 on Gut Borstel ; † 1618 on Gut Kaden ) was a German noblewoman . As such, it was Erbherrin of goods from Haselau and Kaden .

Life

She was a daughter of Jasper von Buchwaldt, Herr auf Borstel and Sierhagen, and Anna von Rantzau-Kletkamp.

In 1565 she married Wulff von Ahlefeldt . The marriage produced five children, including Marquard von Ahlefeldt . After her husband died in 1572 as a result of a fall on his horse, she inherited the noble estates of Kaden and Haselau. The possessions of the Haselau estate included Winsen , Kollmar and Moorhusen, a current district of the Kollmar community.

In 1572 and 1573 she had the church , the pastorate, the sexton's apartment and the hereditary burial in Haselau completely renovated from the inheritance of her deceased husband . On the other hand, she managed the goods very sparingly in order to be able to raise the costs for the education and dowry of the children. Ollegard von Ahlefeldt was not just a woman of honor. She tried to force farmers to sell land or to drive them from their farms. From 1616 onwards there were several lawsuits before the regional court and the farmers were right. However, the subsequent appeals before the appellate court were unsuccessful.

She was also involved in the hijacking of a stranded ship on the Elbe beach in 1574, which had loaded coal from England. When the crew tried to get the ship afloat again with auxiliary staff, some of the men were captured and the ship was captured. On September 20, 1574, she was found complicit by the Imperial Court of Justice and sentenced to pay compensation . However, she refused to pay them. Two years later she filed a defense, the following process took a long time: Gradually, Ollegard von Ahlefeldt and the other defendants died; the process is said to have caused enormous effort and ended after 34 years without a final judgment.

Ollegard von Ahlefeldt died in November 1618 at Gut Kaden and was buried next to her brother Hans von Buchwald at Gut Borsten.
