The Olona in Nerviano

The Olona is a 131 km long tributary of the Po in Lombardy in Italy and flows through Milan . It rises in the district of Rasa di Varese in Varese in the Parco regional Campo dei Fiori . The Olona flows through the Valle Olona in the Po Valley . The river is famous for the Valganna Falls and the eponymous caves ( 45 ° 51 ′ 20 ″  N , 8 ° 49 ′ 23 ″  E ). The Olona is one of the most polluted rivers in Italy. It has an average discharge of 14 m³ / s.
