Olympic Summer Games 1900 / carriage driving
At the 1900 Olympic Games , actually international competitions for physical exercise and sport , a team driving competition was held in which the participants competed in a horse-drawn carriage. However, this competition was not an official part of the Summer Olympic Games recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
The competition took place in Place de Breteuil , there was a race in which a Belgian participant was able to win before a French one. A German also took part in the race, a total of 29 participants from seven nations who competed against each other on June 2, 1900.
