The competition in the two-man canoe over 10,000 meters at the 1936 Summer Olympics was held on August 7th on the Berlin-Grünau regatta course .
The competition consisted of a race in which only five boats from five countries participated. In a largely unspectacular race, the Olympic champions were Václav Mottl and Zdeněk Škrland from Czechoslovakia by a large margin . Silver went to the Canadians Frank Saker and Harvey Charters , who won bronze in the two-man canoe over 1000 m the following day , ahead of the Austrians Rupert Weinstabl and Karl Proisl .
