Ghana took part in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada with an athlete.
The "snow leopard" Kwame Nkrumah-Acheampong collected the necessary points in FIS races in order to be able to take part in the slalom competition at the 2010 Olympic Games. He was the first Ghanaian who could qualify for the Olympic Winter Games .
