Entry of the Greek delegation

Greece took part in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada with seven athletes in three sports.

Greece has participated in all the Winter Olympics since 1936 with the exception of the 1960 Squaw Valley Games, but has never won a medal.

Flag bearer

The flag of Greece , which is the first flag to be carried in the opening ceremonies of all Olympic Games , was carried by Thanasis Tsakiris . The 45-year-old biathlete took part in the Olympic Winter Games for the fifth time and formed the Greek biathlon team with his daughter Panagiota Tsakiri .
