Greece took part in the 1998 Winter Olympics in the Japanese Nagano with a delegation of 13 athletes in six disciplines in part, ten men and three women. None of the athletes managed to win a medal.

The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the ski racer Vasilios Dimitriadis .
