Uzbekistan took part in the 1998 Winter Olympics in the Japanese Nagano with a delegation of four athletes, two men and women, in part.

It was Uzbekistan's second participation in the Winter Olympics after 1994 .

Flag bearer

The slalom Komil Urunbayev carried the flag of Uzbekistan during the opening ceremony in the Olympic Stadium .
