Ethiopia took part in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada with an athlete in cross-country skiing.
Cross-country skiing
After Robel Teklemariam had already participated in the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin for Ethiopia , he was also able to qualify for the Vancouver Winter Olympics. He was again nominated as the only starter by the Ethiopian Olympic Committee . In the 15-kilometer freestyle race he was the 96th starter and thus the last starter in the race, and was more than 11 minutes behind the winner Dario Cologna in 93rd and third from last place.
