Omar Borg (born July 10, 1980 ) is a Maltese football goalkeeper .
The goalkeeper began his career in 1997 at the Maltese club Naxxar Lions , whose team he was part of until 2002. He then moved to the squad of FC Msida Saint Joseph , where he stayed until 2007. Since 2008 Borg played in the team of FC Birkirkara, with whom he won the championship in the Maltese Premier League in the 2009/10 season . He then switched to the Ħamrun Spartans . In the summer of 2012 he joined FC Marsaxlokk in the First Division . A year later, first division club FC Mosta signed him . There he reached relegation three times with his team. Since summer 2016 he has been playing for the Naxxar Lions again.
