Omar Pedrini (born May 28, 1967 in Brescia ) is an Italian musician .

Life

Pedrini is the singer and lead guitarist of the band Timoria and became well known in Italy. Apart from the band, the musician is also active in many other areas: since 1997 he has been the art director of Brescia Music Art , a project that is dedicated to the connection between the individual arts . He also founded his own record label called Omar Gru , with which he produced for five young alternative rock groups .

In 2001 Pedrini wrote the book of poems Acqua d'amore ai fiori gialli published by the Stampa Alternativa . Omar decided exclusively as in the near future solo artist performing and took the song Lavoro inutile at the Sanremo Music Festival in 2004 in part what he already twice with his band Timoria had done. His second solo album was released : Vidomàr . Another album followed in 2006 with Pane, burro e medicine .
