The Omnibus-Verkehrs-Gesellschaft Eduard Bollmeyer mbH & Co KG (OVG) is one of the operators of regional bus transport in the Herford district in the Bünde area . The OVG Bollmeyer operates u. a. the city bus Bünde with 4 lines. There are depots in Bünde and Bad Oeynhausen . The company's motto is: "If you don't keep getting better, you stop being good".
history
Eduard Bollmeyer founded the "Auto-Depot Bünde" in Bünde on February 1, 1927. In addition to the Minden-Ravensberg electricity company (EMR, later Verkehrsbetriebe Minden-Ravensberg ), the company was the first private bus operator in the Herford district at the beginning of the 1920s. The company started with only four vehicles and today has 25 buses that are used throughout the Herford district. From 2002 to 2009 the OVG in Bad Oeynhausen also operated a tourist little train , the "Wolkenschieber". However, due to the high costs of a new vehicle, operations had to be stopped.
The managing director is Marc Bollmeyer, the great-grandson of the company's founder at the time. Since the end of 2006 there is the second managing director Frank Jendrny.
