Omnitracker is one of the Omninet GmbH in Germany developed and used worldwide proprietary business process - platform . The modular software is used by medium-sized and large companies. It is used to record, control and evaluate relevant business processes. The main application is the support of ITIL -compliant processes, management of requests ( requests ), errors, customer requests from creation to completion. Omnitracker has certifications from the Bundesverband IT-Mittelstand and Pink Elephant with nine processes.

history

The owner-managed company Omninet GmbH initially developed Omnitracker with a focus on quality management and software development processes. Since then, the application has been expanded across industries and in a modular fashion to become a business process platform. In 2000, the focus was on service management processes in accordance with ITIL . Numerous international customers use Omnitracker as a business-critical system in various service and specialist processes.

Omnitracker was from the 2015/16 analyst group classified Info-Tech Research Group as 'Value Champion'.

Alignment

The Omnitracker platform and the applications are used for the extensive automation of IT-supported work processes and are aimed at B2B customers in all industries such as B. industrial companies, service organizations, IT service providers and authorities. In total, Omnitracker has several hundred installations. Notable customers are DB (Deutsche Bahn), DATEV , Daimler , German Patent and Trademark Office , SANYO , Siemens , tesa , NATO . The IT of the HUK Coburg insurance group won the itSMF project award "Best ITSM Project 2015" with the introduction of the Omnitracker.

Development and sales

System development and international support are carried out exclusively at the headquarters of the manufacturer Omninet . Sales are carried out directly, through branches and through partners.

Range of functions

The multi- tenant Omnitracker platform consists of a basic system, modular basic components and clients . Unlimited extensions can be configured user-specifically and controlled via open interfaces . The system has its own graphical workflow editor, rule-based notifications and escalations . The data model as well as the rights and roles concept are freely configurable. Reports and statistics can be automated.

Licensing

Licensing is modular as server licenses and concurrent (simultaneous) user licenses. In addition to the classic license transfer, license rental and usage-based licensing (“pay per use”) are also offered.
