Ondřej Brousek

Ondřej Brousek (born March 28, 1981 in Prague , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech musician , composer and actor .

biography

Ondřej Brousek is the son of Otakar Brousek (* 1957) and the actress Zuzana Mixová . His grandfather is the actor Otakar Brousek (1924-2014). He studied music and theater at the Prague Conservatory . He then played at the Prague Theater Divadlo Na Fidlovačce . Even before he made his debut in the 1997 published and Václav Vorlíček staged fantasy adventure film The Firebird alongside Tina Ruland , Horst Buchholz and Karel Roden as an actor on the screen. Internationally he became known for his portrayal of Elien in Jan Hřebejk's historical film Kuschelnester .

In parallel to acting, Brousek also composes and plays music. He is a member of the Czech funk and pop band Monkey Business . In addition, since 1997 he has been composing the film music for various films.

Since November 25, 2011 Brousek has been married to the actress Anna Remková , daughter of the Czechoslovak space explorer Vladimír Remek .
