One Morning Left is a Finnish metalcore band from Vaasa that was formed in 2008.
history
The group, which was founded in 2008, currently consists of Mika "Miksu" Lahti ( vocals ), Ari Levola ( electric guitar ), Tomi "Tomppa" Salonen (vocals, drums ), Tuomas "Teme" Teittinen ( bass guitar ) and Veli- Matti Kananen ( keyboard ). In the founding year, Panda Heart Penguin and Panda Heart Penguin Volume 2 already released two EPs. The debut album The Bree-TeenZ was released on August 24, 2011. The Bree-TeenZ was released on Spinefarm Records and placed 30th in the Finnish charts.
On July 1, 2012 the group played at the Tuska Open Air Metal Festival , where the band could be seen on the Musamaailma Club Stage .
On May 26, 2013, the band announced on their official Facebook page that bassist Tuomas Teittinen had left the band. The reason for leaving the band was supposedly the lack of motivation.
In spring 2014, drummer and singer Tomi Takamaa announced that he was leaving the band. Shortly thereafter, the band announced that their new drummer was Niko Hyttinen, who used to play in bands like Cold Cold Ground and Snow White's Poison Bite . They also announced that the new singer will be Leevi Luoto.
On December 16, 2015, the band announced that they had left the Spinefarm Records label and signed with the American Imminence Records label for the North American and oceanic territories. They also announced the release of their third album, Metalcore Superstars, on January 22nd, 2016.
style
The band mixes classic Metalcore with influences from Screamo and Eurodance . This mix is known as trancecore . The song titles and their content are mostly designed on a humorous level. One Morning Left has already been described as the Finnish Adept version. The lyrics of the band are all written in English .
