Butel ( Macedonian Бутел ; Albanian Buteli ) is one of the 10 Opštini of the north Macedonian capital Skopje . The Opština joins the Opština Čair to the north . While a smaller part is southwest of the Vardar , the area of Opština extends almost 20 kilometers to the northeast. The village of Butel is also located there .
According to the last census from 2002, the district had over 36,000 inhabitants.
