Gjorče Petrov ( Macedonian Ѓорче Петров , Albanian  Komuna e Gjorçe Petrovit ) is one of the 10 Opštini of the North Macedonian capital Skopje . It is located in the northwestern part of the municipality and is traversed by the Vardar . According to the last census of 2002, the district had over 41,500 inhabitants.
