Opmünden is a district of the Bad Sassendorf municipality in the Soest district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The place is located south of the core town of Bad Sassendorf on the L 747. The A 44 runs south . East the 8.9872 extends ha large nature reserve quarry Lohner Klei .
