The constituency Opuwo-Land ( English Opuwo Rural ) is a constituency in the northwest of the Kunene region in Namibia . It has 14,362 inhabitants (as of 2011).
The seat of the constituency is the settlement of Otuani .
In November 2019, constituency representative Kazeongere Tjeundo of the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) resigned as a necessity in the 2019 general election . As a result, a by-election became necessary, which took place on March 9, 2020 and the PDM candidate Uaurikua Kakuva emerged as the winner.
