Opzij Literature Prize
The Opzij Literature Prize ( Dutch Opzij Literatuurprijs ) is a Dutch literary prize awarded to women authors who have championed the emancipation of women in their work .
The prize was used in 1979 by the Dutch monthly newspaper Opzij and was called Annie Romeinprijs until 2007 , named after the Dutch historian and writer Annie Romein-Verschoor (1895–1978). It was initially awarded every two years and then annually from 2008 onwards.
The Opzij Literature Prize is awarded to an author for the best literary work. The prize money is 5,000 euros.
