Religious day
The day of the order is determined by the order's statutes or other legal bases and thus becomes a holiday or a day of remembrance of an order.
Two days of the Order are not unusual, but a larger number of days is rare. The day was and is dated by the Foundation Day, by the Day of Adoration of Saints or other national holidays, such as the birthday of the head of state, winning a war battle or the day the state was founded. Certain rituals on this day, which often start from the foundation date, are solemnly repeated over the duration of the validity of an order. They are an integral part and duty for the medal winners. The awarding of the order or the admission of new members into the community of secular or spiritual orders is the first priority . Religious rituals or military ceremonies, depending on the type of order (civil order, military order ) with joint celebrations (joint meals) fill the day. If religious clothing or ceremonial clothing was or is specified, the day must be honored by wearing the same. Violations can be punished honorary or financially.
Changes to the order day, once set, have rarely taken place. Many changes can be explained by the calendar reforms.
