Oreste Chlopecki

Oreste Víctor Chlopecki is an Argentine opera singer ( bass ), choir director and composer .

Life

Chlopecki studied at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata and had singing lessons from Eduardo Cittanti and María Pia Girolla . He worked at the UNLP as a lecturer in musical language, counterpoint and vocal arrangement. He is the director of the Coro Polifónico Municipal de Lezama , the Coro Mixto Castelli , the Coro Mixto Chascomús and the choir of the Cámara en Espacios alternativos group . In addition to choir and orchestral arrangements, he also composed film and drama music.

Chlopecki u. a. at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, the Teatro Argentino and the Teatro Coliseo in La Plata, the Teatro Avenida , the Centro Cultural San Martin and the Teatro Coliseo in Buenos Aires, the Teatro El Circulo in Rosario and the Teatro Colón in Mar del Plata . He sang solo parts a. a. in Mozart's Requiem , Beethoven's Ninth Symphony , Dvořák's Stabat Mater and Bruckner's Te Deum , in Verdi's Aida , Rigoletto and La traviata , Mozart's Die Zauberflöte , Don Giovanni and The Marriage of Figaro , Giacomo Puccini's Madama Butterfly and La Bohème , Igor Stravinski's Oedipus Rex and Krzysztof Penderecki's Ubu Rex .
