Origins Award / Computer Games
This list contains the winners of the Origins Award for computer games .
In 1980 an Origins Award was presented for a computer game for the first time. Between 1981 and 1985 the best was home computer - Adventure award. From 1986 there were several prizes
- for the best strategy or war game
- for the best fantasy or science fiction game (from 1997 instead best action game and best computer role-playing game )
- for the best graphic (1986 to 1988)
As of 2000, no Origins Awards were given for computer games.
