Ormond , sometimes called Ormond Valley , is a small settlement in the Gisborne District on the North Island of New Zealand .

The settlement is located around 14 km northwest of Gisborne city ​​center in the Waipaoa River valley . The New Zealand State Highway 2 runs through Ormond and connects the settlement directly with Gisborne .
