Daglfing
Daglfing is a district of the Bavarian capital Munich and belongs to the city district 13 Bogenhausen . Daglfing used to be an independent village and gave its name to the community of Daglfing, which was formed from several villages and existed from 1818 to 1930
location
Daglfing is the easternmost part of the city district of Bogenhausen. In the south and east it extends to the border of the city district, which is formed in the south by the Munich – Mühldorf railway line and in the east by the Hüllgraben ; in the west the railway line Munich East – Munich Airport forms the border to Zamdorf , Denning and Englschalking , and in the north the street Stegmühlstraße - Salzstraße separates Daglfing from Johanneskirchen .
history
Daglfing was first mentioned on December 10, 839 as ad Tagolfingas . Hence the name is derived from the name Tagolf / Thachulf. From 1319 until the secularization in Bavaria in 1803, Daglfing belonged to the Ismaning county in the Freising Monastery .
When the community was formed in Bavaria in 1818 , the community of Daglfing was formed from the village of Daglfing and other surrounding villages . On January 1, 1930, the congregation with its then parts of the municipality Daglfing, Denning, Englschalking and Johanneskirchen was incorporated into Munich.
Townscape
The old town center can be found around the Catholic Church of St. Philip and Jacob . To this day, Daglfing is rather rural. This district has largely retained its rural character with several historical courtyards. In the south the picture is characterized by single-family and terraced houses with large gardens and some old farmsteads. The Daglfing trotting track is also located there .
In 1957, the VdK built a semi-detached settlement in the area around Oberschlesische Strasse. The settlement north of theschichtlstrasse was built in 1983/84 as a self-help project for municipal employees and civil servants.

traffic
Daglfing is connected to the A 94 with its own junction "München-Daglfing" (3).
The Munich East – Munich Airport railway runs through Daglfing and is served by the S8 line of the Munich S-Bahn every 20 minutes . The Munich-Daglfing S-Bahn station has two platform tracks on a central platform and a through track. The latter is attributed to the Munich Nordring , which is almost exclusively used by freight trains and branches off here in the direction of Trudering .
