Wolfgang Mueller
Wolfgang Mueller (born March 13, 1967 in Bensberg ) is a German writer , film producer and lawyer . He published many of his novels and short stories under the pseudonym Oscar Heym .
Life
After graduating from high school, Wolfgang Mueller studied law in Gießen , Hamburg , Madrid , Mexico City and Bonn from 1987 to 1992 . After passing the second state examination, he was admitted to the bar in 1995. In 2000 he received his doctorate with a thesis on the rights of the indigenous natives of Mexico for Dr. Jur.
From 1993 to 1995 he was a trainee lawyer in Cologne and then initially worked in Cologne and from 1999 in Berlin as a lawyer in the field of media law.
In 1998 he published his debut novel Kurkonzert under the pseudonym Oscar Heym . Until 2016 he published other works under this name.
In 2007 Mueller founded the company Barry Films together with the US-Swiss producer Benito Mueller in Los Angeles and the Zurich film distributor Monika Weibel . He was also a member of the supervisory board of Senator Entertainment AG from 2006 to 2010 . Since then he has produced various international feature films with Barry Films. Since 2014, he and Benito Mueller have also been working on the development and production of international television series. He has been a member of the Producers Guild of America since 2015 .
In 2016, his novel The Friend of the Past was published , for the first time under his name Wolfgang Mueller. In this, the protagonist now bears the name Oscar Heym .
His novel The White House is announced for 2021 .
Mueller lives in Berlin and has 2 children.
