Oskar Becker (painter)
Oskar Becker , also Josef Osbeck (* 1898 in Sülzen , Reichsland Alsace-Lorraine , † 1982 in Düsseldorf - Angermund ), was a German landscape , marine , genre , portrait and still life painter from the Düsseldorf School .
Life
Becker was a student of Albert Holz , Georg Hacker and Ernst Aufseeser in Düsseldorf. He settled there and mainly painted landscapes, port pictures and seascapes as well as still lifes with flowers.
