Osman Şanlısoy (born August 14, 1999 ) is a North Cypriot pool player .

Career

At the 2013 European Youth Championships , Osman Şanlısoy won the bronze medal with the North Cypriot school team. In the 2014/15 season he was third in the North Cyprus men's championship . In April 2015 he took part in the men's European championship for the first time . In the 10-Ball discipline , he reached the round of 64 and was eliminated from the Finn Petri Makkonen . Three months later he was again third at the European Youth Championships with the North Cypriot school team. At the 2015/16 North Cyprus Championship, he finished fifth in the men's category and second in the junior category.

At the EM 2016 he missed the finals in all four disciplines. After reaching the quarter-finals three times in 2015, Şanlısoy won his first medal in an individual competition of the European Youth Championships in 2016 . In the 10-ball competition of the U19 juniors, he made it to the semi-finals and was defeated there by the later European champion Maxim Dudanez with 0: 7.

At the European Men's Championship, Şanlısoy has been part of the North Cyprus national team twice (2015, 2016), with which he was eliminated in the preliminary round without a win.
