Ostheim (Riedlingen)
Ostheim (also Oschheim ) is a lost place near Riedlingen in the Biberach district in Baden-Württemberg .
The place was at the foot of the Österberg northwest of Riedlingen and was first mentioned in a document issued on September 30, 835 in Worms . In it, King Ludwig the German confirmed the gifts of goods made by his father, Emperor Ludwig the Pious , Abbot Grimald von Weißenburg , head of the imperial chancellery, in Apphagau , namely Altheim , Riedlingen ("Hruodininga"), Waldhausen ("Ualdhusir") and Ostheim.
It is not known when the place was abandoned. From the 14th century until the 15th century, only the field name Ostheim appears.
