Priscillah Tabunda (born August 22, 1989 in Busia ) is a Kenyan athlete who competes in numerous disciplines.

Athletic career

Priscillah Tabunda gained her first international experience at the 2010 African Championships in Nairobi , where she finished seventh in the pole vault with a jump of 2.40 m . In 2015 she took part in the heptathlon at the Africa Games in Brazzaville for the first time and could not finish her competition after throwing the javelin. In addition, she retired in the 100-meter hurdles with 14.12 s in the first lap, as well as in the 400-meter hurdles with 61.77 s. Then came the end in the hurdles sprint at the Military World Games in Mungyeon, South Korea, with 14.29 seconds. In the long jump she was twelfth with a width of 5.72 m and took sixth place with both the 4-by-100-meter and the 4-by-400-meter relay. The following year she was eighth in the long jump at the African Championships in Durban with 5.81 m and was eliminated in the hurdles sprint with 14.79 s in the lead. In 2018 she took part in both disciplines at the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast , but did not make it into the final. In August she reached seventh place at the African Championships in Asaba with 6.00 m supported by the wind and retired in the hurdles with 14.71 s in the first round.

In 2011 Tabunda became Kenyan champion in the heptathlon, in 2017 and 2019 in the 100-meter hurdles and in 2018 in the high jump.
