Hilda-Maria Lander

Hilda-Maria Lander (born September 29, 1934 in Hittisweiler ; † March 3, 2018 ) was a German educator and social worker and professor at the Technical University of Nuremberg Georg Simon Ohm .

Life

Lander attended the elementary school in Kirchheim unter Teck from 1941 to 1945 , then the grammar school there until 1951 , and finally the commercial college in Esslingen am Neckar until 1952 . After a brief activity at the diocese's bishop's youth welfare office in Wernau , she was secretary in the local mayor's office from 1952 to 1958. From 1958 to 1960 she completed an apprenticeship as a social worker at the Catholic Social Women's School Freiburg im Breisgau of the German Caritas Association and at the same time became a pedagogical employee in the Frankfurt dance group. Until 1963 she was then a vocational school welfare worker in Frankfurt am Main . This was followed by a one-year training as a factory teacher in Düsseldorf , where she then, until 1967, was a lecturer at the higher technical school for social work of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Sozialpädagogik und Sozialbildung e. V. (ASG) . She switched to the Victor Gollancz Foundation as a continuing education lecturer and, at the same time, trained as a supervisor at the Academy for Youth Issues in Münster. In 1972 she began studying educational science at the University of Frankfurt , which she graduated with a diploma in 1974. She then returned to her role at the Victor Gollancz Foundation. In 1977 she did her doctorate in educational science with Ernest Jouhy at the Goethe University in Frankfurt . From around 1979 until her retirement in 1999 she was a professor at the University of Nuremberg.

From 1982 to 1985 she was on the scientific advisory board of the magazine Supervision.
