Osvald Polívka
Osvald Polívka (born May 24, 1859 in Enns , † April 30, 1931 in Prague ) was a Czech architect of the Neo-Renaissance and Art Nouveau . He designed many public buildings and apartment buildings in Prague.
Polívka studied with Josef Zítek and was his assistant from 1885 to 1889. With Antonín Wiehl he designed the Pražská městská spořitelna palace, today's Ministry of Urban Development, with Antonín Balšánek the Prague Municipal House ( Obecní dům ), where he designed the interior in particular.
