Otakar Jeremiáš
Otakar Jeremiáš (born October 17, 1892 in Písek , † March 5, 1962 in Prague ) was a Bohemian composer.
Jaroslav Jeremiáš's brother was the director of a music school in Budweis from 1918 to 1928 . He directed the Prague Radio Orchestra until 1945 and was then conductor at the National Theater in Prague .
He composed two operas ( The Karamazov brothers , 1922-27 and Eulenspiegel , 1937-47), two symphonies , a suite , an overture and a fantasy for orchestra, chamber music , music for plays and films, choral works and songs .
