Oto Grigalka
Oto Grigalka ( Russian Отто Янович Григалка , Otto Janowitsch Grigalka ; born June 28, 1925 in Saikava near Madona ; † February 8, 1993 ibid) was a Latvian shot putter and discus thrower who started for the Soviet Union .
At the European Athletics Championships in Brussels in 1950 he won bronze in the shot put, and at the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki he was fourth in the shot put and sixth in the discus throw.
A silver medal in the shot put and a sixth place in the discus throw at the 1954 European Championship in Bern was followed by a fifth place in the discus throw at the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne.
Oto Grigalka was married to the high jumper Marija Pissarewa .
