Otso Virtanen (born April 3, 1994 in Turku ) is a Finnish football goalkeeper who plays for Kuopion PS .
Career
society
Otso Virtanen, who was born in Turku , started his career in his hometown at Åbo IFK . In May 2011 he made his debut for the club in the Kakkonen , the third highest division in Finnish football. After another assignment, Virtanen moved to Turku PS . There he made his debut in the Veikkausliiga on September 11, 2011 against Vaasan PS . After Henrik Moisander saw the red card, he came on for field player Santeri Mäkinen . In 2012 Virtanen played again at Åbo IFK for whom he was in goal eighteen times. From 2013 he played for the Finnish first division club IFK Mariehamn . In three seasons he completed 65 league games. In 2015 he won the national cup with the club in the final against Inter Turku . At the end of the 2015 season, the 21-year-old Virtanen moved to Hibernian Edinburgh in Scotland. With the Hibs he won the Scottish Cup in the final against the Glasgow Rangers in 2016 , and lost the final in the League Cup . In January 2017 he moved back to Finland to join Kuopion PS .

Otso Virtanen played in the U-19 and U-20 of Finland before making his U-21 debut against San Marino on September 9, 2014 . In this age group, he played all ten games as a regular goalkeeper in qualifying for the upcoming 2017 European Championship in Poland.
