The Otterbach is a right tributary of the Pulsnitz in West Lusatia in Saxony .
course
It rises northeast of the juniper hill ( 198 m ) between the villages of Weißbach and Neukirch at 167 m above sea level. M. from two source streams. On its further course to the northwest, it is initially dammed in the forest pond and then flows through Schmorkau . In the landscape protection area in the area of the former Königsbrück military training area , the Otterbach in the General-Müller-Teich and the largely silted-up two forestry ponds are dammed. Then the brook flows through the desert of Otterschütz . After 12.2 km it joins the Pulsnitz east of Naundorf at the place of the abandoned village Rohna .

In Schmorkau the Otterbach used to form the border between the Meissner and the Upper Lusatian side.
The natural stream on the former Königsbrück military training area is a retreat for the kingfisher .
