Otto Joschko

Otto Joschko (born November 29, 1901 in Wilsdruff ; † December 3, 1971 ) was a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending primary school , he was an office assistant, dispatcher and commercial clerk . Joschko had been a member of the SPD since 1924. He was represented in various party bodies. He was a member of the IG Bergbau und Energie union .

Otto-Joschko-Strasse was named after him in Bottrop.

MP

From July 24, 1966 to July 25, 1970 Joschko was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in the constituency 098 Bottrop.

From 1932 to 1933 he was a city councilor in Ratibor . He was a member of the municipal council of the city of Bottrop from 1948 to 1971 and was mayor here from 1956 to 1971 .
