Otto Aleksander Reinlo , native Otto Alexander Reinfeldt (born March 19 . Jul / 31 March  1899 greg. In Tallinn , Governorate of Estonia , † 31 March 1974 in Tallinn, Estonian SSR ) was an Estonian footballer Baltic German origin. In 1935 he estonized his first and last name.

Life

Otto Reinlo graduated from business school in the Estonian capital Tallinn in 1917. From 1918 to 1920 he fought as a volunteer for the Estonian armed forces in the war of freedom against Soviet Russia . Reinlo had already started playing football when he was still at school. From 1922 Reinlo played at SK Tallinna Sport . With the club Reinlo was between 1922 and 1934 a total of seven Estonian football champions .

From 1925 to 1933 Reinlo played for the Estonian national soccer team in 39 international matches . With the national team, he took part in the Baltic Cup five times , and won the event in 1931 .

During World War II Reinlo was drafted into the Red Army and served as a captain in an Estonian telecommunications force .

After the war he worked as a math and physical education teacher in Tallinn. In 1970 he was one of the authors of the book Jalgpall. Minevikust tänapäevani ("Football. From the past to the present").
