Otto Veh

Otto Veh (born September 8, 1909 , † December 5, 1992 ) was a German teacher , historian and translator .

Otto Veh studied Latin, Greek, German and history and received his doctorate in Munich in 1933. He was active in the school service, from 1953 as headmaster of the humanistic grammar school in Fürth , from 1960 as head of the Riemenschneider grammar school in Würzburg .

Veh has particularly distinguished himself as a translator of several Latin and Greek works. In addition, he published numerous works on Franconian regional history, especially in the archive for the history of Upper Franconia and in the yearbook of the Historical Association for Middle Franconia .
