Otto to Brandis

Otto zu Brandis (born December 3, 1848 in Innsbruck , † August 1929 in Lana ) was an Austro-Hungarian diplomat .

Life

Otto zu Brandis joined the foreign service in 1871. In 1891 he replaced Alfred Schwarz von Morenstern as counselor to the Holy See and was in turn replaced in 1899 by Adalbert Ambró von Adamócz as counselor there. From April 28, 1902 to September 10, 1905 he was ambassador to Stockholm . From September 10, 1905 to December 30, 1907 he was ambassador in The Hague .
