Oulu (administrative community)
The administrative community Oulu ( Finnish Oulun seutukunta ) is one of seven administrative communities ( seutukunta ) in the Finnish landscape of Northern Ostrobothnia . The eponymous city of Oulu and its surroundings belong to it . A total of around 200,000 people live in the area.
The following seven cities and municipalities belong to the administrative community of Oulu :
Haukipudas , Kiiminki and Oulunsalo belonged to the Oulu administrative community as independent communities until they were incorporated into Oulu in 2013.
