Oumou Sow

Oumou Sow (* 1970 ) is a Guinean sprinter . She was a participant in the 1992 Olympic Games.

Life

Oumou Sow took part in the World Junior Athletics Championships in 1988 in Greater Sudbury (Canada) as a sprinter in the 100 and 200 meter competitions. She did not progress in the preliminary round.

She took part in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona . In the 200-meter competition , she started the short distance in run 4 of the preliminary round, but did not finish the run ( DNF ) and could therefore not qualify for round 1. With her personal best of 12.52 seconds, she ran the 100-meter course at the 1993 World Athletics Championships in Stuttgart in the preliminary round. In this run she finished 6th, which did not qualify her for the next round. She also competed for the 200-meter course in Stuttgart, where she also ran a personal best, the time of 25.81 seconds was not enough to qualify for the next lap.

In 1994 she took part in the Francophonie Games in Bondoufle , she ran the 100 and 200 meter courses and was part of the 4x100 meter relay.
