Ovacık is a Turkish city and a district in the Karabük Province . The smallest district (tr: İlçe ) of the Karabük province with 398 km² was founded in 1959. It is located in the east of the province and borders on Kastamonu and Çankırı . The city includes nearly 13 percent of the county’s population. Of the 42 villages, Kişla is the largest with 179 inhabitants.
