The Owcze Turniczki is a mountain in the High Tatras with an altitude of 2040 m npm on the Polish - Slovak border.
Location and surroundings
Below the summit lie the Dolina Rybiego Potoku in the west (Poland) and Dolina Białki in the east (Slovakia).
The summit is above the Owcza Przełęcz pass , which allows an easy transition between the two valleys and has been used by shepherds and shepherds for centuries.
etymology
The name Owcze Turniczki can be translated as sheep towers or shepherd towers . The name comes from the fact that there was a sheep pasture on the slopes of the summit and the shepherds drove the sheep from one valley to the other over the nearby mountain pass.

The Owcze Turniczki is not on any marked hiking trail. However, it is accessible to climbers with a permit from the administration of one of the national parks . The shelters Schronisko PTTK nad Morskim Okiem and Schronisko PTTK w Dolinie Roztoki are suitable starting points for an ascent .
