Owen Teale (born May 20, 1961 in Swansea , Wales ) is a British film and theater actor .

Life

In his youth, Teale appeared in a regional theater in Porthcawl before he was admitted to an acting school in Guildford , UK in September 1980 . Three years later, in 1983, Teale graduated here in theater studies . Shortly thereafter, Teale got his first engagement as a dancer in the musical Cabaret in a theater in Plymouth .

Teale has also been in front of the camera as an actor since 1984. Although he was rarely offered leading roles, his face is known as a supporting actor in several television films and Hollywood productions. Among other things, he was seen in the 2001 role of Roland Freisler in the television film The Wannsee Conference . From 2011 to 2016 he played as Ser Allisar Thorn in the famous fantasy series Game of Thrones .

Owen Teale is married for the second time. He had his first child with his first wife, British actress Dilys Watling . Watling himself is 15 years older than him. Teale is now married to Sylvestra Le Touzel , also a British actress, with whom he has two other children.
