Oxyrrhynchium swartzii (synonym Eurhynchium swartzii ), also called "Winziges Schönschnabelmoos" in German, is a deciduous moss thatis similar tothe Kleiner Schönschnabelmoos ( Oxyrrhynchium hians ). However, it can be due to the wider lamina cells (6 to 9 µm wide), the longer rib, which usually extends to the tip of the leaf, and the other location requirements (it colonizes rock and wood in forests, or can be found on more humid meadows, also on limestone meadows ) to distinguish. It's just a little shiny. Its leaves are 1 to 1.5 mm long, not sloping. The leaf margin is sawn to the base.
Systematics
