His teachers were Karel Boehlee , Kris Goessens , Rob van Bavel, John Taylor , Fred Hersch , Arnold Doyeweerd and Yuri Honing . He received drum lessons from Gerald Jeltes. He also trained in workshops with musicians such as Richie Beirach , John Scofield , Barry Harris , Kurt Rosenwinkel , Jim Black and Bobby McFerrin .

Pär Lammers plays in various formations, including a jazz piano trio named after him with Marcel Krömker and Benni Wellenbeck, which was founded in 2005 and from 2006 on the Berlin label Traumton, the albums All the colorful sheep (2007), mainly composed by Lammers , back right the rain (2008) and Come on over (2009). The trade journal Jazzthing judged the Pär Lammers Trio as "inventive musicians who have a weakness for pretty melodies and who dress them up with a lot of verve". The work of the musicians is full of new ideas. The star stated after the debut album: “It's jazz, and yet new and young.” In 2010, the Pär Lammers Trio also released the fan song Aux Armes for FC St. Pauli on the football club 's anniversary sampler entitled St.Pauli-One Hundred .

Together with Daniel Schaub , the jazz musician attracted attention as the composer and producer of the debut album of the joint project Jack Beauregard ( Everyone Is Having Fun , 2009). The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung judged the work to be "fine electronic folk pop". The indie pop writer PeterLicht wrote: “A young hero walks over an amorphous crystalline structure with an as yet unknown target and soft shoes. That could be a world. The light refracts on the surfaces of the crystals. In the distance a big sun. The young hero opens his old suede bag that hangs over his shoulder. He reaches in and throws it out like a Van Gogh sower. Time thrown away by hand. ”The album The Magazines You Read followed in 2011, which includes their most successful song to date, You Drew a Line ; for Jack Beauregard's third album , Irrational , the band ' Deichkind ' contributed a remix to the song Silvermine .

Lammers also works with Schaub as a producer for other musicians; they produced instrumentals for the rapper Chakuza, published remixes for Casper, Timid Tiger , the Austrian band Neo Disco and the French band Exsonvaldes .

As a songwriter he also worked for Moonbootica and Lena . In addition to his work as a composer and in various bands ( he also released albums with The Little ), Lammers gives concerts as a pianist and pop musician in various formations. He lives in Berlin.
