Daniel Schaub (born February 15, 1983 in Bad Godesberg ) is a German musician and composer. He is singer and guitarist with the band Jack Beauregard .

Life

Daniel Schaub comes from a family of musicians and grew up in Cologne. He graduated from high school in 2002 and then studied jazz guitar at the Music Academy in Amsterdam. In the meantime he was the drummer for the indie band Katzen , on their first album Von Hinten! (2005) he can be heard.

He also got to know Pär Lammers at the music college . Together with him, Schaub founded Jack Beauregard and wrote four songs for singer Lena Meyer-Landrut's first albums . Schaub became known to a larger audience when, in 2011, both titles Maybe and Push Forward, submitted by the composer duo, reached the finals of the German Grand Prix preliminary decision, Unser Song für Deutschland .

He played guitar and bass on the gold award-winning album XOXO by German rapper Casper . On the album he also worked as a co-producer and composer. It came to number 1 in the German album charts and was awarded the Echo 2012 .

Daniel Schaub lives in Berlin.
