Péter Szabó (born October 7, 1979 ) is a Hungarian handball player .

Career

The 1.87 meter tall goalkeeper made his first appearance in the 1998/99 season with KC Veszprém in the EHF Champions League . With the Hungarians he took part in this competition again the following season. The 2001 European Cup Winners' Cup was his last international appearance so far. In this he was even able to reach the quarter-finals with the team and was eliminated there against SG Flensburg-Handewitt , which was able to win the competition. By 2013, that was right- at-Orosházi FKSE Linamar under contract before moving to Austria for HSG Raiffeisen Bärnbach / Köflach changed. With the Styrians he had to play in his first season in the Handball League Austria for relegation to the Handball Bundesliga Austria , but was able to win the duel against SC Ferlach .
